MONTHLY HOROSCOPES

FEBRUARY 2026 FOR ALL SIGNS

Saturn and Neptune will start to get a little too close for comfort starting on the 7th until the 28th. They will be exactly conjunct each other and will be aligned with the fixed star of sorrow, Scheat, located in the constellation Pegasus.

From February 7 until the 28, Saturn and Neptune will be conjunct. During this time, the alignment of these two gas giants will intensify the many negative emotions being felt down here on Earth. While these planets have already gotten a little too close, particularly back in the summer of 2025, both have gone retrograde (backwards) for a brief time each. Now that they are both direct (forward), they are about to join forces again for February 2026. This period may bring confusion, self-doubt, uncertainty, pessimism, and heightened anxiety about what we perceive as real in our lives.

This will create a profound inward shift. This transit heralds a period when the boundary between reality and illusion can become blurred.

Saturn represents our perceived reality, while Neptune governs our ideals, illusions, and apparent reality. This combination weaves a complex tapestry of inspiration and challenge, blurring the lines between the concrete structures in our lives and the boundless realms of imagination.

Saturn calls for structure and discipline, Neptune's presence stirs the waters of the subconscious, bringing dreams, creativity, and sometimes confusion to the surface. We may find ourselves grappling with disillusionment or a need to confront many uncomfortable truths.

The blending of these distinct influences can make situations seem much worse than they actually are.

This planetary alignment will occur in the Nakshatra, or lunar mansion, of Uttara Bhadrapada. This is the 26th of the 27 nakshatras used in Vedic (Indian) astrology and is located along the longitudinal degrees of 03.20 to 16.40 of sidereal Pisces. The mythological deities that rule here are Rudra, the god of storms, and Ahirbudhnya, often depicted as a serpent residing in the depths of the atmosphere or the oceans, representing dormant potential energy waiting to surface. It is also called the "serpent of the deep". Since Uttara Bhadrapada rules over the waters of the skies and seas, on a mundane level, it has the power to influence the rains and tides of the seas and oceans.

As Saturn and Neptune align, they will be positioned near the fixed star Scheat, which is the ruler of this nakshatra and is located in the northern sky in the constellation Pegasus.

Scheat has always been associated with drowning and is said to be dangerous for travelers and seamen, possibly triggering some major natural disasters, particularly involving heavy rains, flooding, earthquakes, and tsunamis.

  • When looking at the birth chart for the Titanic, the ship launched when Mars was conjunct Scheat, Venus was here when it sailed on its maiden voyage from Southampton in 1912, and the Moon was transiting this star when it finally sank after hitting an iceberg, and the Moon was here again 73 years later when the wreck was found 73 years later.

  • This star was transited in 1820 when the whaling ship Essex was stoved in by a whale in the Pacific.

  • In 1857, the sidewheeler SS Central America, out of Havana, with 500 passengers and 21 tons of California gold, foundered in a hurricane and sank off Wilmington, NC.

  • In 1898, the ocean liner La Bourgogne, which was running full speed in fog, collided head-on with the schooner Cromartyshire off Cape Sable, Nova Scotia.

  • In 1925, the most violent and deadly tornado in American history occurred, hitting Annapolis, MO, and was almost one mile wide, moving in a straight line 229 miles in three hours, passing through Illinois and ending in Indiana, destroying Murphysboro, IL, and several other towns.

  • In 1926, the Great Miami Hurricane occurred with winds up to 128 mph, killing 372 and injuring 2,000, leaving 38, 000 homeless.

  • In 1945, the refugee ship Wilhelm Gustloff sailed into a blizzard in the Baltic and was torpedoed and sank with 5,348 passengers (1,252 were rescued).

  • In 1964, Mars was here when the massive 9.5 Alaska earthquake and tsunami occurred, killing 164 people, mostly by the tsunami; the quake was 10 million times stronger than the Hiroshima bomb.

  • In 1976, this was the epicenter of an 8.0 magnitude earthquake in Tangshan, China, which left more than 500,000 dead, and an entire province completely devastated.

  • In 1979, while Mercury was stationary direct here, the Irish Sea Fastnet Ocean Racing yacht race disaster occurred when a violent gale struck without warning: 5 yachts were lost, 19 abandoned, 19 drowned, and 138 were rescued. This was called "the worst disaster in the history of ocean racing".

  • In 1989, Hurricane Hugo hit Charleston, SC, causing serious damage.

  • In 1998, the Sydney-Hobart yach race disaster occurred when ferocious 100 mph winds and huge waves caused 70 boats to quit the race and seek shelter, 6 to be abandoned or sunk, 6 yachtsmen drowned, and 60 were plucked from the Ocean in the "largest maritime civilian rescue in Australia's history.

  • In April 2010, Uranus was transiting this star when the oil rig explosion in the Gulf of Mexico happened, which caused a massive eruption of crude oil from its base, devastating shorelines, killing wildlife, and ruining the livelihoods of thousands.

  • On March 11, 2011, this was the position of Uranus when the massive 9.0 earthquake and tsunami occurred, which devastated the shore communities of North Eastern Japan, which was followed by the Fukushima nuclear plant disaster; multiple safety back-ups ended up failing, and radiation poisoning was carried around the globe by prevailing winds.

Last year, in 2025, approximately from June 09 until August 23, Saturn and Neptune were one degree apart from one another in the same degree of the zodiac as they are now. The most significant flooding events that occurred were:

  • The Pakistan Monsoon Floods, India–Pakistan Border/Nepal, India Northeast, Afghanistan, Central Texas Hill Country, Northeastern U.S. Flash Floods, and New York City Flash Flood.

  • The most significant rainfall events that occurred from June to August 2025 were in Central/Eastern Ontario, Canada, Central Texas, Calgary, Canada, Northern Scotland, and Stikine, Canada.

  • The most significant earthquakes/tsunamis that occurred during this time occurred in Kamchatka, Russia (M8.8 Earthquake), Tracy Arm, Alaska (Landslide-Generated), and the Banda Sea, Indonesia (M7.8 Earthquake).

After the major conjunction of Saturn and Neptune occurring this month, Saturn will move on and begin to move further and further away from Neptune as the year goes on. From March 1 - 16th, Neptune will be by itself here, then right before it moves on, the Sun will join it from the 17-18, then be by itself from the 18 - 21. So this time could bring more significant geological and atmospheric events.

The next time we will have a strong planet in this area of the sky will be from April 6 - 10, when Mars will be conjunct Scheat. After that, we won't have any major planets conjunct this troublesome star until the end of the year, when Neptune will be retrograde again and will move back into this same spot in November.

A solar eclipse occurs when the moon, in its new or dark phase, aligns directly between the Earth and the sun, temporarily blocking sunlight. In astrology, a solar eclipse is considered a powerful new moon that can initiate significant, fated changes and life shifts, with effects often lasting up to six months. As a result, the impact of this eclipse is expected to continue until August.

This solar eclipse will occur on February 17 at 4 degrees 36 seconds of sidereal Aquarius in the nakshatra Dhanishta, which is positioned at the transitional point between the astronomical constellations Capricornus and Aquarius. The first two quarters of Dhanishta in Capricorn can bring a calculated, structured energy, while the last two in Aquarius bring a more social or innovative approach to gains. The eclipse will be taking place in the Aquarius half of the nakshatra.

Dhanishta is the 23rd of the 27 nakshatras, or lunar mansions, which consist of a small group of four stars located in the head of Delphinus, the Dolphin. Dhanishta is called the "star of symphony," and its symbol is a musical drum. It is ruled by Mars, bringing high energy, ambition, and a desire for structured effort. Since Rahu (the moon's north node) is placed here, this can bring sudden, intense, and abrupt shifts in financial status. The sun and moon, being placed here, shine a light on career, social status, and being in the Aquarius half, potential political, corporate, and disputes with authority figures.

Solar eclipses are traditionally said to affect kings and queens and the nations they rule over; this still applies to royals but also to presidents and prime ministers. There could be some major events that occur, resulting in certain leaders stepping down suddenly due to unexpected events and scandals coming to the surface, as well as certain leaders being overthrown by other countries, their own political parties, or possibly even their own citizens.

On the day of the eclipse, Jupiter will form a trine to the sun and moon, bestowing gentler, more positive energy on the impulsive nature of the solar eclipse. The transformative effects of the eclipse will bring moments when our lives change direction for the better, often involving adventure or a calculated risk. Jupiter's energy is jovial and expansive, bringing confidence and faith in the future and helping us navigate the instability that sometimes accompanies eclipses. Since solar eclipses represent new beginnings, the trine with Jupiter ensures these starts are fortunate, productive, and prosperous.

The solar eclipse will occur in sidereal Aquarius, which is ruled by Uranus, the planet associated with innovation, sudden change, freedom, and humanitarian ideals. Uranus governs technology, electricity, social justice, and the drive to challenge old structures and create new paradigms for collective progress.

Historically, this region has been associated with significant advancements in environmental issues, the founding of educational institutions, major legal developments, and breakthroughs in communications, travel, and technology.

This period may see the emergence of new and controversial belief systems, as well as innovations in technology, astronomy, science, religion, and philosophy. Major cultural revolutions can also occur and can drive reform by prompting societies to address shortcomings and rebuild on stronger foundations, fostering growth and resilience.
